We are a small family business that has been running since 2016. We have 2 Border Collies, a miniature Poodle, 2 Budgies, a Hamster and some Free Range Hens of our own, so you will be able to see we are very fond of all pets and will take good care of your 'Little Loved Ones' while you are away.

They will enjoy boarding in our 'Hotel' which is located in Camborne, Cornwall. We also welcome guests from surrounding areas such as Hayle, Helston, Newquay, Truro, St Austell, Redruth, Penzance, Falmouth, St Ives .................!

We decided in March 2016 to start boarding Hens but this very quickly escalated to us taking an extremely large range of Small Animals!  

​

We can give your Hens, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Rats, Tortoises, Chipmunks, Chinchillas, Degus,  Parrots, Budgies, Cockatiels, Love Birds, Gerbils, Hamsters, Lizards, Snakes and many more pets a lovely holiday home.

Bunnies, Guinea Pigs & Rats, will stay in a stone built 'Den' which is bright and airy.  The cages are large so your pets have plenty of space to exercise whilst they are boarding with us. The hutches have feeding bowls & water bottles. Bunnies hutches are lined with dust free Easybed & Guinea Pig hutches are lined with mats. We do not have runs or pens.

Customers will need to bring dry food, hay, treats & any excess veg they have in their fridges that may be out of date when they get home from their vacation!

Bunnies will also need proof of up to date vaccinations.

We also offer a grooming service for Rabbits & Guinea Pigs.

​

Tortoises - We have 2 Tortoise tables - each with a Basking Slate, feeding dishes and ornaments. It is lined with substrate and has straw in the bedding compartment. If they need heating, we have UVA Basking Lamps. You will need to supply all food.

​

​Rats - We have a large, tall cage which is suitable for rats, chipmunks or chinchillas. This is free to use when it is available. You will need to bring fleece beds or hammocks.

​

Parrots - We have 3 parrot cages. These are free to use when they are available. Each one has 3 feeding bowls, a swing, toy with bell & a hanging treasure chest. You will need to supply all food.

Parakeets - We have 2 large bird cages that are suitable for budgies or cockatiels. These are free to use when they are available. Each one has 2 feeding bowls, a swing, 2 hanging toys and mirror in them. You will need to supply all food.

​

Small Rodents - We do also have a hamster/ mice cages. This is free to use when it is available . It has feeding bowls, water bottle, a house with bedding & a wheel. The cage is lined with sawdust. You will need to supply all food.

If you would prefer to keep your budgies/ parrots, rats, hamsters/ mice in their own cages, please include the size of the cage on the request a quote form.

For small pets like Budgies, Parrots, Chipmonks, Chinchillas, Degus, Hamsters, Gerbils, Mice etc, we have an area set aside in the house with us where they will be cosy and yet have plenty of daylight, as well as lots of attention! You will need to bring their food and any specific treats that they like.

Hens will be boarded in an outside Omlet Eglu that includes a run and laying compartment to lay eggs & sleep. These are closed at night.

When the weather is very hot, the air conditioner is put on, and during cold weather there is a thermostat heater to keep all our guests warm.

​

The Den is locked up every night so your pets will be kept safe.

​​

As we have pets of our own, we know how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone else. We always send messages and photos, by Whatsapp, to our customers, giving updates on how our guests are enjoying themselves!

​

All hutches are spot-cleaned every morning. The Den is regularly disinfected & each hutch is disinfected after guests leave.

All guests will be kept separated from our pets.

​

Unfortunately, we can not accept Dogs, Cats, Ferrets, Ducks & Cockerels.

​

Our business is fully insured for all pets kept on our property, but we are not insured to look after pets on other peoples property. We are therefore afraid it is not possible to offer pet sitting.
